Influencia de las Expediciones Seaflower a la Geopolítica Colombiana

Abstract

El mar Caribe es en la actualidad un escenario de disputa regional entre las naciones que la conforman, teniendo como ejemplo los fallos de la Haya en los diferendos marítimos entre Colombia y Nicaragua; esta dinámica geopolítica ha despertado el interés de las naciones en ejercer cierta influencia en el dominio marítimo para conciliar nuevamente las fronteras. Es por esto que, a través de esta investigación se busca comprender cómo las expediciones científicas seaflower, aportan a la influencia de Colombia en el Caribe para la preservación de la Reserva de Biósfera del Archipiélago de San Andrés, comprendiendo bajo los conceptos clásicos y críticos de la geopolítica y de los conceptos de poder, este aporte científico de las expediciones a la estrategia marítima, reconociendo los resultados de las expediciones en todas sus versiones y finalmente su influencia en la geopolítica de Colombia en el mar Caribe.

The Caribbean Sea is currently a scenario of regional dispute between the nations that make it up, taking as an example the rulings of The Hague in the maritime disputes between Colombia and Nicaragua; This geopolitical dynamic has awakened the interest of nations in exerting some influence in the maritime domain to reconcile borders. That is why, through this research, we seek to understand how seaflower scientific expeditions contribute to the influence of Colombia in the Caribbean for the preservation of the San Andrés Archipelago Biosphere Reserve, understanding under the classical and critical concepts of geopolitics and concepts of power, this scientific contribution of the expeditions to the maritime strategy, recognizing the results of the expeditions in all their versions and finally their influence on the geopolitics of Colombia in the Caribbean Sea.
