dc.description.abstract | This paper analyzes the Revolution in Military Affairs (RMA) through the study of drone use in recent armed conflicts, exploring how this technology has transformed the military capabilities of key countries such as the United States, Israel, Turkey, Iran, Russia, and Ukraine. Using the theory of peripheral realism as a theoretical framework, the study highlights how some countries considered peripheral have adapted their military doctrines and structures to integrate drones, assessing the effects of this integration on global strategy and its possible relevance for Colombia. It argues that the use of drones could constitute an emerging RMA, with important implications for the modernization of the Colombian Armed Forces | es_ES |
