Resumen
This article explores the challenges Colombia faces in aligning humanitarian demining with the implementation of productive projects in areas declared free of Anti-Personnel Mines (APM), Unexploded Ordnance (UXO), and Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) between 2020 and 2025. Using a qualitative and strategic approach, the study examines how sustainability gaps, weak institutional coordination, and risks of recontamination hinder economic development and territorial stabilization. Through case studies and the analysis of national and international sources, it proposes strategies to strengthen territorial governance, improve community cohesion, and enhance the impact of demining as a peacebuilding tool in Colombia’s post-conflict context.
