| es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract: Environmental crimes such as illegal mining and deforestation have emerged in Colombia as hybrid threats that compromise national security, territorial sovereignty, and institutional stability. This article examines their strategic implications during the 2019–2024 period, using a qualitative methodology and geospatial analysis focused on high-impact regions such as the Amazon, Chocó, and southern Bolívar. The main contribution lies in framing environmental crimes as instruments of territorial control and para-state governance. The article proposes an integrated national environmental defense framework, combining military, institutional, and community-based strategies to restore state authority in critical regions. | es_ES |
