dc.descriptionEl artículo reconstruye los orígenes del Régimen Penal Internacional y los antecedentes inmediatos del Estatuto de Roma, para luego describir las características y estructura organizacional de la Corte Penal Internacional. A continuación aborda el análisis del papel del tribunal en la consolidación del Régimen Penal Internacional y los factores que pueden estimular a los Estados a sumarse a dicho proceso. Finalmente valora, en términos de legalización, la contribución del Estatuto de Roma y de la Corte Penal Internacional a la consolidación del Régimen Penal Internacional.es-ES
